Reading Under the Stars is a K-5 event that promotes literacy in a fun way with activities, readings, and overall fun mixed with a Halloween theme. The booth I set up was “Fishing For Pout Pout Fish”. The activity was set up so multiple kids could play and read the book at the booth. We gave out candy and school supplies every time someone won. Me and my classmates worked to develop the booth, run it, and took part in many different aspects of setting up the event. ***Rationale*** This artifact shows my ability to organize an educational environment in a way that is accessible to all students, makes use of physical space, and connects to digital using technology at our booth. It shows that I understand that all students need to be included and have optimal space when learning. It shows that I can make a activity that is inclusive and supports all learners no matter what their background or limitations. ![[EmerLitArtifact-2-6.pdf]]
