## ***Microteaching Field Lesson*** ***2c. Managing Classroom Procedures*** The teacher transitions between instructional modalities seamlessly and effectively, and all students are empowered to manage learning routines and procedures with agency. ***InTASC Standard #8: Instructional Strategies*** The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop deep understanding of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways. ***Description*** This artifact is a lesson plan which was taught in the field during my hours for Early Field Experience. For this, I worked with a 4th grade teacher who I was observing with to create a lesson that will fit into their curriculum. The lesson is a review on concepts: factors, multiples, and prime and composite numbers. It incorporates guided instruction, a worksheet, and student involvement throughout the lesson. ***Rationale*** This artifact showcases my use of various instructional methods to encourage learners to connect deeper with the concepts they are learning in class. It uses instruction and practice to build upon the skills the field teacher was building and apply the knowledge they already had in a deeper and meaningful way. It shows my ability to use instructional modalities both seamlessly and effectively and concisely teach the students the content they need to learn. ![[Artifact2C Combined-2-9.pdf]]
