## ***Factors and Multiples Review Lesson Plan*** ***2b. Establishing a Culture for Learning*** The teacher conveys a passion for learning and its educational value, so all students are  challenged and encouraged to achieve expectations. ***InTASC Standard #3: Learning Environment*** The teacher works with others to create environments that support individual and collaborative learning, and that encourage positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation. ***Description*** This artifact is a lesson plan I made for my field hours in Early Field Experience. I worked with the co-op teacher to help build a lesson plan that would correlate to their students’ current subject and line up with their instructional methods. The lesson is a review lesson on factors and multiples. The lesson reviews both topics, provides opportunities for students to answer questions, incorporates fun and engaging methods, and has a worksheet at the end to assess their knowledge of the topic. ***Rationale*** This artifact showcases my ability to work with others in a professional manner to create opportunities for students to learn and grow in an appropriate manner. It shows that I can create lessons that encourage engagement, social interaction, and allow students to make mistakes so they can learn from them. It also shows my willingness to add elements that keep children engaged with fun instructional methods that keep their attention to the lesson rather than getting quickly bored and distracted. ![[Artifact 2B-2-4.pdf]]
