## ***Read Aloud Lesson Plan*** ***1c. Setting Instructional Outcomes*** The teacher sets instructional outcomes that are rigorous and appropriately sequenced, addressing differentiation in learning and viable methods of assessment for all students. ***InTASC Standard #1: Learner Development*** The teacher understands how learners grow and develop, recognizing that patterns of learning and development vary individually within and across the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical areas, and designs and implements developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences. ***Description*** This artifact is a lesson plan written for my Emergent Literacy class. Its central focus is a read aloud of the book “You’re So Amazing”. Its goal is for students to recognize they are different from one another and that we should treat one another the same no matter our differences. It incorporates multiple learning styles through reading aloud a book, asking questions, and completing an activity with peers. ***Rationale*** This artifact showcases my ability to understand that learners grow and develop differently from one another, and different instructional methods are necessary for learning. It incorporates cognitive, social, and emotional learning in a way that allows students to challenge their preconceived notions and learn how to treat one another well at an early age. ![[Read Aloud Lesson Plan.pdf]]
